My list of blogging topics

I created a list (who doesn’t love a list?) of all the ideas I’d like to blog about at some point. It’ll be a good reference point for me when I’m considering my next non-review post.

Maybe you’d like to share where you find your inspiration for your blog content?

Would you still blog about a topic even if you think it’s been blogged to death?

Here’s my list; some of which I’ve blogged about already:

  1. Why do you blog?
  2. Best things about blogging
  3. Worst things about blogging
  4. Earliest memory of books
  5. Favourite author
  6. Favourite book
  7. Book series – best or worst
  8. Books to movies
  9. Book events
  10. Authors I’ve met
  11. Bloggers I’ve met
  12. Write your own author bio for fun (even if you’ve not written a book)
  13. Top 5 favourite blogs
  14. Update your most popular blog post
  15. Anything with a list
  16. Shelfies
  17. Upcoming releases you’re dying to read
  18. What not to do as blogger
  19. Precious books
  20. Book endings
  21. Books on a budget
  22. Book tags; here, and here, oh and here!
  23. A-Z of this, that and the other
  24. Book shop visits; particularly highlighting independent stores
  25. What have you learned from blogging?

Anything you’d like to add that would be a good blogging topic?

Great ideas! I used to blog hardcore back about a year ago, but I’ve fallen off recently and I really want to get back into it. Will definitely be using this list for inspiration!

    Fab list Lindsay.

I’ve recently blogged about resources/websites I have found helpful.

Book tags seem to be popular with bloggers. Wish I had more time!

Resources and websites are a fab idea Shaz.
Book tags aren’t for everyone as they take quite a bit of time to put together (well, the ones I’ve done have). You have to prioritise where to spend your time don’t you?

Yes you do! I must admit that ideas come into my head but I know I don’t have the time to make it more concrete. Now in a couple of years time … hahahaha

I’m with you on no. 15 – my non-review posts all seem to involve lists of some sort!

I’ve found list posts to be very popular though and are always useful when you hit a blogging wall 🙂

I love the idea about talking about first memories about books- would it be ok if I used that? I’m a pretty new book blogger and I’m trying to come up with cool things to talk about 🙂
